This is the Wuthering Waves Resonators hub on GachaHaven — a long-form home base for how characters work, which role to assign them, what to farm, and which tools to open next. It is not a fabricated character database of invented weapons, fake Echo sets, or misspelled limited banners. Everything below maps to systems that exist in WuWa: Forte, Echo cost, sonata effects, Intro/Outro, Waveplate, and Sequences.
New and returning players often land on a “Resonators” URL expecting a searchable database. GachaHaven used to ship fabricated entries in places like that. Those are gone on purpose. What remains is more useful for actually playing: a clear explanation of the systems around characters, a role lens for deciding who to invest in, checklists so Waveplate has an owner, and deep links into builders that plan real loadouts.
Use this page when you pull someone new, when you return after a patch gap, or when your inventory is full of half-built characters and you need a priority order again. Pair it with the long Resonators guide for pull/investment philosophy and the Echoes guide for the gear layer.
Kit numbers, banner schedules, and balance shift by version. Always confirm Ability descriptions and sonata tooltips in-client. This hub stays focused on durable frameworks that survive patch notes.
A Resonator is more than a portrait and an Attribute color. In combat and progression terms, each one is a bundle of systems you raise over weeks:
Combat kit
Basic / Heavy Attacks, Resonance Skill, Resonance Liberation, Forte Circuit quirks, and a Main Echo skill you assign from your Echo loadout.
Concerto (Intro / Outro)
Swap effects that buff or damage when characters enter and leave the field. Team DPS lives here as much as on personal multipliers.
Forte tree
Skill levels, inherent skills, and stat nodes unlocked with materials. Raise the nodes that define the rotation before vanity pads.
Weapon + Echoes
Weapon type and secondary stats; Echo cost budget (toward 4-3-3-1-1), sonata bonuses, and main stats by role.
Ascension & Union Level
Level caps and world progress. Boss materials and regional gathers gate every serious build.
Sequences
Duplicate upgrades. Nice spikes; not required to enjoy the game or clear early endgame with good play.
Attributes you will see on kits include Aero, Fusion, Electro, Glacio, Havoc, and Spectro (among others as the roster grows). Match Attribute DMG Echo bonuses to the Resonator’s actual type — never to a Genshin element rename.
Longest field time, highest Echo and weapon investment. Finish their sonata and Crit balance before polishing the rest of the account. Practice Intro buff windows into their Liberation / Skill burst.
Typical Echo aim: Crit on 4-cost, Attribute DMG% on 3-costs, ATK% on 1-costs (unless HP/DEF scaling).
Deeper decision framework: Resonators guide. Team prototypes: Team Builder.
Resonator Builder
Plan levels, weapons, and role goals for the Resonator you are actually playing. Start here when a new character lands on the account.
Echo Planner
Fit 4-3-3-1-1 (or earlier) cost patterns and sonata bonuses before you dump Waveplate into the wrong elites.
Team Builder
Prototype Intro/Outro lineups and synergy notes with the roster you own — not a screenshot of someone else’s endgame account.
Damage Calculator
Compare build directions once your rotation is stable. Useful for weapon or Crit Rate vs Crit DMG decisions.
Material Calculator
Total Ascension, Forte, and weapon material needs so weekly bosses have a clear shopping list.
Ascension Planner
Simple backlog for resonator and weapon Ascension progress across the week.
Waveplate Timer
Next +1 and time-to-cap. Building Resonators fails quietly when stamina sits capped overnight.
Boss Tracker
Weekly boss checklist with reset countdown — Ascension mats live here.
Codes & Rewards
Active codes for Astrite and materials. Copy, mark claimed, keep expiries honest.
Resonators — Pick & Build
Role framework, investment order, when to pull, F2P path — no fake S/A/B list.
Echo System Guide
Cost patterns, Main Echo skills, sonata priority, Data Bank, when to stop farming.
Waveplate Farming Efficiency
Spend order so Ascension and Echo days do not starve each other.
Combat Mechanics
Dodge counters, Liberations, and combat verbs that make builds feel strong.
Glossary & Acronyms
Forte, Intro/Outro, Sequence, Waveplate, sonata — shared language for every guide.
Launch / First-Week Notes
What early accounts usually get wrong — still useful for alts and returning players.
Reroll Guide
Honest tradeoffs if you are considering a fresh start.
All WuWa Guides
Index of community-style guides for Wuthering Waves.
Optional last: Sequences and signature weapons. They amplify a finished build; they do not replace one.
Never sit at Waveplate cap — open the timer.
Longer spend-order notes live in the Waveplate farming guide. Echo stop rules live in the Echoes guide.
