Building a solid Wuthering Waves team

Most field teams want one on-field Main DPS, one buffer or Sub DPS that feeds Concerto/Outro, and one heal or shield slot for Tower of Adversity and Whimpering Wastes. Start by locking your invested DPS, then fill support roles that match their Attribute and rotation — Aero Erosion teams often pair Cartethyia with Ciaccona; Fusion shred teams lean on Lupa; Spectro Frazzle pipelines often run Phoebe into Zani.

Reading the synergy panel

• Role balance — flags missing Main DPS, healer, or too many carries.
• Attribute resonance — two-of-same-element notes shared farming and buff overlap.
• Echo synergy — sonata goals per slot, not your rolled substats.
• Energy — rough Concerto coverage; low scores mean you may clip Liberations.
