New account guide (skip the reroll loop)
Launch-era “must reroll S+” lists are stale. In 2026, most players are better off keeping the first account and spending time on Astrite, Waveplate, and a playable trio.

Should you reroll?
Usually no. Permanent progression (story, exploration, Data Bank, Waveplate economy) outpaces a few early Convenes. Rerolling burns time and often targets banners that have already rotated. We removed old placeholder “S+ reroll” SEO lists for that reason.
First-week priorities
- Story + exploration — largest early Astrite and unlock gates for farming.
- Spend Waveplate — don’t sit capped; track ETA with the Waveplate timer.
- Redeem codes — claim mail while they last on WuWa codes.
- Build one field team — Main DPS + buffer/Sub DPS + heal/shield. Use the team builder for role drafts, not tier ranks.
- Plan pity before big Convenes — Convene pity calculator.
Who to level early
Level whoever clears content for you. Standard / early limited units plus free supports (e.g. Verina / Baizhi / Sanhua / Yangyang depending on ownership) are enough to push story. Echo perfection and perfect Crit rolls can wait until talents and weapons are not blocking you — see the Echoes guide and Resonators role guide.
If you already started rerolling
- Pick the account with the most story progress or the limited unit you actually enjoy.
- Stop resetting once you have a usable carry + sustain — the time cost exceeds the pull EV.
- Bank Astrite for a banner you care about instead of chasing every debut.
