Selector vs limited — keep them separate

Track limited Convenes in the pity calculator; read Starpath history in-game so you never “merge” counters in your head.
Who-to-pick framework
Work top to bottom. Stop when you have a clear answer.
- Role gap: Are you missing sustain, a buffer, or a second DPS element for endgame rotations? Pick the role first, character second.
- Investment overlap: Prefer the Resonator whose weapon / Echo sonata you already farmed. A “stronger” pick that needs a full rebuild often loses to a ready one.
- Limited banner conflict: If you are also chasing Suisui (or the next debut), finish that decision before dumping Astrite into Starpath — selectors feel “safer” but still cost the same 160 Astrite per pull.
- Duplicate value: Sequences / copies can matter, but first copies of a missing role beat idle duplicates for most accounts.
- Skip is valid: If every selector option is a sideways upgrade, bank Astrite for the next limited debut. Selectors are not homework.
What we will not do
- Publish a Starpath “S / A / B” tier list — that ages badly and ignores your roster.
- Invent pool members that are not on your live Convene screen.
