Battery Charge is Zenless Zone Zero’s resin / Trailblaze Power / Waveplate equivalent. It regenerates while you are offline, stops at the cap, and is spent on Combat Simulation-style farming, expert challenges, and other battery-priced modes.
If you log off at 230 Battery and sleep 10 hours, you lose hours of regen. That is the entire efficiency problem this guide solves.
Tip: spend in the chunk size shown on the entry (often 20 / 40 / 60) so leftovers do not strand you one short of a run. The Battery timer estimates how many of those chunks you have.
| Day type | Focus | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Weekly reset day | Notorious / weeklies first | Do these before any Disk spam |
| Build week | Agent + engine mats | One DPS + stun + support to soft caps |
| Skill week | Core skill materials | Prioritize buttons you press every fight |
| Disk week | One set for main carry | Stop when main stats are correct — don’t infinite farm |
| Event week | Bonus Battery modes | Override the plan while the bonus is live |
Disks are the long tail of ZZZ investment. Early accounts feel “stuck” and blame Disks when the real issue is Agent level, W-Engine level, or missing a Stunner. Farm Disks when:
If a single bad Disk day tilts you into capping Battery for three nights, you lost more progress than any substat would have given.
