Snezhnaya — Version 7.0
This is a prep guide, not a leak dump. The release date is locked; most kits, banners, and map details are still waiting on the Special Program. If a site sells you full team rotations for unreleased characters today, they’re guessing.
Last reviewed July 22, 2026. Primary date confirmation: HoYoverse April special program / code Snezhnaya20260812. Update this page after the 7.0 livestream.
Mixing these is how fake “definitive 7.0 guides” get written. Keep them separate until the livestream and in-game client say otherwise.
| Topic | Status | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| 7.0 launch date | Confirmed | Aug 12, 2026 (watch maintenance mail for your server) |
| Skip Version 6.8 | Confirmed | Straight from 6.7 → 7.0 |
| Snezhnaya as the new nation | Confirmed | Seventh mainline Teyvat nation; story arc payoff |
| Phase 1 / Phase 2 banner order | Pending | Wait for Special Program + Wish UI |
| Full character kits & signatures | Pending / partial | Preview titles exist; numbers change until live |
| Exact map size, train controls, events | Pending | Treat train-network talk as preview, not a how-to yet |
Snezhnaya has been the destination teased since early Archon Quests: the Tsaritsa’s nation, Fatui home base, and the place where the collected Gnoses storyline has been pointing. Official and near-official previews describe a colder, more industrial look than Natlan or Fontaine — tundra, snow-heavy architecture, Slavic naming — plus a train network across the map.
Combat direction continues the Stellar reaction ideas that showed up around late 6.x (including Stellar-Conduct with Sandrone in Luna VIII). Preview coverage also mentions Stellar-Swirl (Cryo + Anemo). Until 7.0 is live, read reaction guides as orientation, not finished math.
For what’s already in the client this month, use our Luna VIII (6.7) overview.
Do not farm a “best team” spreadsheet off these lines yet. Use them only to decide whether you’re interested enough to save.
If a creator posts “Odette C2R1 BiS” before the Special Program, treat it as speculation for entertainment — not planning gospel.
Useful actions that don’t depend on leak accuracy:
If you play daily through the rest of 6.7 and don’t whale, you’re usually looking at something in the ~9k–13k F2P band for a full patch — see the per-patch guide for the breakdown. Between now and Aug 12 you only get the remaining slice of 6.7, plus whatever maintenance / livestream codes drop.
Soft pity for a featured 5★ is often in the 70–80 pull range; worst-case character guarantee math still sits near two hard-pity cycles if you lose 50/50. Use the pity calculator with your real counters instead of vibes.
After 7.0 launches, the useful follow-ups are: a live patch overview, exploration routes, and character pages for whoever actually debuts — same pattern as Luna VIII.
