Is this a precise character DPS calculator?

No. It models one talent hit from stats you enter. It does not auto-load every kit passive, snapshot window, or multi-hit rotation. Use it to compare ATK% vs EM sands or more CRIT vs more DMG% honestly.

Where do I get talent motion value %?

Open the talent in-game (or wiki) for that hit — e.g. Charged Attack 200.3% ATK means enter 200.3. Multi-hit skills need each hit calculated separately or summed by you.

How is average damage calculated?

Average = non-crit × (1 − CRIT Rate) + crit × CRIT Rate, with CRIT Rate capped at 100%. Crit hit = non-crit × (1 + CRIT DMG).

How do vaporize / melt work here?

Amplifying reactions multiply the hit by 1.5 or 2.0, then apply the EM bonus 2.78×EM/(EM+1400). Pick the correct trigger (Pyro vs Hydro / Cryo) for the ×1.5 vs ×2.0 case.

What about Aggravate / Spread?

Those add a flat amount (level-based) onto the hit before DEF/RES/DMG%. We use level-90 community bases. Keep character level at 90 for that additive piece to match.

Should I use Genshin Optimizer instead?

For full inventory optimize and multi-hit rotations, yes — those tools are deeper. This page is for quick what-if stat checks without importing a whole account.
