Why does the timer keep running when the tab is closed?

How Waveplate regeneration works

Waveplate regenerates at a steady rate (1 every 6 minutes, unless changed by events). This tool estimates your next +1 and the time until you reach the cap. Adjust your current count and cap to match in-game values, and use the quick buttons to spend or add 60.

Tips to avoid capping

Spend in 60s to align with domain costs and avoid partial leftovers.
Keep an eye on the “Time to cap” before logging off for the day.
Temporary event caps may increase your maximum; update the cap field when that happens.
